Dignity in Schools Campaign: National Week of Action on School Pushout

There is no better place for a student to be than in school during school hours.

Yet, in Louisiana, already higher-than average suspensions and expulsion rates have been on the rise over the past decade as state and local zero-tolerance policies have imposed harsh punishment for minor childhood and adolescent misbehavior. In Louisiana there are over 300,000 suspensions each year.

Parents, Teachers, Students, Community Members

Join us for an evening of deep listening and the development of solutions for reducing suspensions and expulsions.
